Recent Purchases

Hi,

The sales are on! I made the most of my student loan and did what I do best, shopping.

A new Victoria's Secret has opened near me so I popped in to take a look. I came away with this citrus body spray for a purse pleasing £11. The underwear is simply too expensive.

I'm sure many people feel the same on a night out, aren't clutch bags annoying?! They fall, slip and you only have one free hand. This is why when I came across this cool shoulder bag in Primark for a cheap and cheerful £6 I just had to buy it!

The final shop I went into was H&M, one of my favourites. I've recently joined a new gym so thought it was time to buy some gym clothes! I needed a new sports bra and this one is medium support. I've had them from h&m before and they're the best! The support isn't too intense, just the right amount. I saw this matching vest in the sale for just £3!

Recent Purchases

Hi,

First of all, how does everyone like my new blog layout? I love it!

Something else I've been doing this week is shopping, of course. I'm here to give you all my reviews, good or bad, on the products I've bought.

I've been looking for Vita Liberata fake tan for ages since I found out it's what Binky from Made in Chelsea uses. I found it in Boots last week and bought the dark mousse for a purse pleasing £22.50. The tan spread far and had a lovely smell. It went dark straight away and developed further over the next 4-6 hours. When washed off it left a glowing even tan. I would definitely recommend it to you!

After seeing reality tv star Tom Pearce tweet numerous times about his online shop, noagg.com, I decided to give it a try. A lgorgeous scoop back bodycon dress instantly caught my eye and I didn't hesitate to buy when I found that it was only £10.49! When the dress arrived it was a different colour than I expected. I thought it was going to be navy and white but it turned out to be grey and white, not a huge deal though after falling in love with it when I tried it on, excellent quality! Below is a photo of me sporting the dress at a recent wedding!

The L'oreal Matt and Messy Salt Spray advert on TV had me looking for this product for weeks. It seemed to be sold out everywhere, must be good I thought. However, when I found the item in Boots and took it home to try, it was a disaster. This product did nothing but make my hair dry and smell awful. No waves or sexy bed head appeared, such a disappointment. DO NOT BUY.

Finally, my big splurge of the week was this bright blue Versace bag. It's fun for summer and has two big compartments for all my things! It's really good and for £142 it should be! The only thing I could say is that it may be even better with a long carrier strap. Also I was able to check the authenticity just in case I wasn't sure.

Cheap and Cheerful

Hi,

After Christmas money is tight and we all know that much loved retail therapy has to be put on hold. However, here are my three top cheap but cheerful buys for the new year!
Facemask - 99p from H&M
This facemask is fun, fruity and simply fabaulous. It really works making the skin smooth and less dry. It's great for the price and really does the job!

W7 nail varnish £2 from Bodycare
This rip off of No.7 looks cheap and nasty. However, the colour is bright and only requires one coat. A top coat is recommended though as it chips off easily.

Hairspray 69p from Tesco
I'd only suggest the use of this supermarket saver for one night, a night out maybe. If used everyday hair becomes luggy and dry which needs a wash to get out. Does the job though, a really strong hold!
