Glittery French Pedicure

Hi,

Even though the winter months are drawing closer, I don't believe in having bad toe nails.
Today I've done a lovely French pedicure with glitter and I'm going to walk you through what I did.

You will need: Scissors, sticky tape, glitter nail varnish, white nail varnish and a clear top coat.

After filing nails and applying a base coat, cut the sticky tape into 10 thin strips. Wrap the strips around the toes leaving a small gap at the top.

Paint the toes as you normally would with the white nail varnish, covering the sticky tape. Leave these to dry for 15-20 so they are fully dry. Peel the tape from around the toes leaving a white pedicure line! My tip for this is to tear the tape away quickly as it usually leaves a smoother line.

Apply a glittery top coat. Only one coat of nail varnish is needed for this as the glitter wants to compliment the French pedicure, not over power it.

Gorgeous Glitter Nails

Hi,

Recently I've become a huge fan of glittery nails. I've sported them for two weddings, three parties and a BBQ this month. They are simply fab for every occasion!
To get these nails I use glitter pots, not normal glittery nail varnish. They are available from all great nail salons or Amazon if you're looking for a bargain! They are cheaper and come in a wider variety of colours. They are also never ending!
In this post I'm going to show you how to apply the glitter in the best way possible.
Choose a colour and let's go!

What you need:
  • Nail Varnish
  • Glitter pots
  • Water
  • Cotton Buds
  • Clear top coat

First of all, paint your nails with a base coat and then your desired top coat of colour. Apply two coats if needed then wait for them to dry.

Then add an additional top clear coat and whilst still wet, dip a cotton bud into the water then straight into the glitter. Be quick!

Ensure you wait until your nails are fully dry before adding another top coat and then let your nails dazzle!

Glitter Heels - Good vs Bad.

Hi,

I've been invited to a lot of parties recently and as you all know, I LOVE GLITTER!
What better way to show up to a party in style than in gorgeous glittery shoes?
I bought two pairs, a gold and a silver and I'm here to review the good and the bad to you!

Let's get the bad out of the way. I couldn't find any silver heels in my size that I liked enough to buy in any shop so I decided to search online. I stumbled across seller Koi Couture and found a beautiful pair that was perfect for me!
When they arrived they were the perfect fit, size and heel height. I was delighted.

They even came with some Gel foot pads for sensitive soles.

However, as I took a closer look I noticed the heel wasn't quite right. It looks poorly fitted together and most importantly, there was no glitter on it!

Where was this glitter? In the box! Most of the glitter had fallen off the heels and into the shoe box they arrived in. They also shower everywhere you walk with glitter which is a disaster, especially for me who hates mess!

I won't be recommending this company to anyone that's for sure!

On the other hand, let’s finish on a better note. I bought a gorgeous gold pair from Next a day later and I cannot complain about anything.
They're a brilliant fit and the peep toe is very flattering!

What about the glitter? None of it falls off or covers your house in a sparkly dust. It also shines red, green and blue in the light so they are suitable to wear with anything.

I adore these shoes and will be definitely be buying shoes from Next again!

Multi Colour Sparkle Nails.

Hi,

This is a simple guide to achieving two fabulous looks this season, colour and glitter!

· After shaping, paint with a clear coat to stop the staining of the natural nails

· Paint each nail one at a time in a different colour, which ever shades and patterns suit your style!

      · Everyone knows I love a bit of glitter, who doesn't? So once nails are dry, apply a sweep of glitter across the nails

· Finally, add another layer of clear on top to stop chipping and to ensure they look super shiny!
